So long Madiba!

2013 has come and almost gone and there is no better way for me to close the year than by dedicating my last post to the Madiba himself - Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, a man who lived and fought for what he believed in.

The Madiba spent most of his prison years on Robben Island, a few kilometres from Cape Town, so we'll be looking at a few of the many panoramic sights Cape Town has to offer.

Introducing African Regent Hotel

The African Regent Hotel opened its doors to the discerning public in 2007.  Set in the prestigious Airport West neighbourhood of Accra, Ghana, in West Africa, it lies within a short radius of Kotoka International Airport, Acrra Mall, Tetteh Quarshie Art Market, Accra Polo Club and the city's major thoroughfares.

The hotel's tagline is "Simply Afropolitan" signifying a combination of African and cosmopolitan - because the African Regent Hotel has a strong African influence, and cosmopolitan because it has an international clientele.

Right from the lobby, guests would immediately notice the tasteful African art, calm earthy colours and traditional wooden furnishing which evoke a feeling of contemporary luxury.
